Harmanpreet Kaur hit her sixth international century on Wednesday at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury.

Leading from the lead, India’s captain smashed 18 fours and 4 sixes in a scorching performance that received a standing ovation from the captivated crowd.

Harmanpreet was batting on 100 with three overs left in the Indian innings at one point. She then unleashed a sensational attack, scoring 43 runs off 11 balls.

What followed was utter carnage, with India finishing on 333/5.

Harmanpreet scored her sixth ODI hundred, tying her with India opener Smriti Mandhana.

The pair is currently second on India’s list of ODI hundred batters in women’s cricket.

Mithali Raj is at the top of the charts with seven hundred.

In response, England only managed 245 against Canterbury on Wednesday. India now leads the ODI series 2-0.
